Designed by Foster + Partners, 270 Park Avenue will be the new flagship global headquarters of JPMorgan Chase. The 1,388-foot, 60-story supertall tower will become New York City’s largest all-electric building with net zero operational emissions, exceeding the highest standards in sustainability, comfort, and wellness.

The unitized curtain wall system incorporates full height triple glazed insulating glass units with a custom high performance coating for improved energy efficiency. Interior shades are incorporated within the curtain wall framing and controlled by the building management system to optimize daylighting. The perimeter structure is clad with prefinished bronze alloy panels which span across multiple curtain wall units at the diagonal bracing members located on the east and west elevations. Large format low iron glass and steel framing comprise the lobby glazing system which spans between individual fan column elements that minimize support points at the base of the building. The glazing system slopes back from the street edge to create generous entry spaces into the through-block public lobby space.
